Practice with Kim

Having trained at PranaShanti Yoga Centre under the guidance of Jenna Switzer, Kim is an RYT-200 certified yoga teacher and visual artist with a strong desire to unleash the creativity within her students. Believing that yoga and art are intrinsically linked, Kim crafts sequences that are both nurturing and challenging, through which she encourages a flow state within her students.

Kim’s use of heartfelt visualizations and humour, allows students of all walks an opportunity for deeper self reflection, and reintroduces a sense of play in each of her classes. Motivated to allow people to trust in their own power, Kim serves her classes with compassion and a familiar kindness.

With a strong desire to learn and grow in her own yoga journey, Kim regularly attends workshops and trainings, including teaching with therapy balls, so that she can offer moments of growth, and thoughtful experiences for her students.

Creativity flows within every one of us, but there are times in life when we feel disconnected, and blocked from our true artistic selves.

For many of us, Yoga and art are intrinsically linked, and with intentional nurturing of our inner artist through asana and meditation we can create space to tune back into the natural ebb and flow of our creative forces.

We’ll begin with an exploration into your own relationship with creativity and self expression. Followed by a meditation, and a gentle yoga and art practice to help you reconnect to your innate creativity.

You will leave Yoga for Creativity with: - A closer relationship to your own creativity. - Written reflections on your relationship to creativity & self expression. - A renewed energy and sense of belonging. - New skills to help ride the ebb and flow of the creative tides.
